Hey guys, last week when I went op-shoppin', my mum found an A.M.A.Z.I.N.G bargain (as always). She found a MARC JACOBS dress. I was shocked when she told me they were VEEEEEEEERY expensive, this dress was a lucky ten dollars, d'ya hear that, TEN DOLLARS! I took some inspiration from Tavi and put her into my own clothes and pictures. Here's how they turned out.
Gigantic pom pom: Handmade by me
Long sleeved patterned shirt: Borrowed from my mum
Marc Jacobs dress: op-shop
Handmade bag: op-shop
Purple shoes: Found in the garage
Hello faithful ones, on the weekend my family and I went into the city so my mum could get some pictures for her fabulous blog. I got some pictures done myself in front of one of Melbourne's colourful walls.
What I wore:
I wore my hair in Ponytails with Red Bow clips in them. Around my neck I wrapped my Deadly Spiked Collar and on my back an Emily the Strange Bag. I also wore my Radical Leather Jacket with my Daria Shirt underneath. Below them I wore a pair of Tartan Pants my very talented mum made me <3. And lastly, the shoes. These Extremely Tall Punk Boots were passed down from my mum. I have one thing I want to say, THANK YOU FOR THESE SHOES!
After we had our Picture-athon we drove to St Kilda and ate some of their GORGEOUS cakes. Ooh St Kilda, the town of cakes. The words just keep on running through my head. Cakes, cakes, cakes!
Whoops, need to clean the keyboard. I'm drooling all over it. Ha ha :)
I have another thing to say. If you haven't been to St Kilda yet. GO!
Hey guys, on the weekend my mum and I had a beautiful CHOCOLATE lunch at a little CHOCOLATE shop called CHOCOLATE. I decided to have a Dreamy CHOCOLATE Milkshake and my mum had a Dreamy CHOCOLATE Meltdown. While I was drinking my Dreamy CHOCOLATE Milkshake, my mum got out her phone and as always, would take a sneaky photo of me drinking my Dreamy CHOCOLATE Milkshake without me knowing. She did her editing and this is how me and my Dreamy CHOCOLATE Milkshake turned out. Yum!
This week amongst all of my homework, MEH! I've managed to get crafty and make a flower headband or wreath. My inspiration is of course, one of Tavi's Gevison's crowns. I bought the flowers from the op-shop, I had my dad put holes in a plastic headband and with my Super Powered Hot Glue Gun™ I glued the flowers onto the tiny holes. Easy peasy.
My mum showed me how to do these wicked effects in Photoshop. I think they turned out ace.
With the leftovers, I made a pair of hair ties. I wore these to school the other day and someone asked me (in his drone tone), are you a florist? I replied, Why, how observant of you!! All I could think of was ' Is that all you got?' Ha ha. Anyways, I think these turned out pretty awesome, I wished the flowers were pink, but they're from the op-shop, what are you gonna do? I hope your week is as sunny as my new hair wreath.
Hello again. How has your week been? Mine went very slowly but I'm glad that the weekend has finally come. This week I have started reading Weetzie Bat books. I love how she makes her own clothes and she calls the good looking boys Ducks. I looked up on google (which I do a lot to find fashion inspiration)- Weetzie Bat fashion and I found these. I love how she's....OUT THERE!
This week we watched an episode of rage, (which we TiVo'd) and I just couldn't help but to watch Kate Bush's Babooshka over and over. I just love how she dances baaa booshka, baaa booshka booshka eye yeye.
Well that's what I've been into this week, I better get some sleep for my early wake to the op-shops. I wanna score some good bargains, so i'll post to you later. I'm planning on making a flower headband this weekend, hoping it goes well.
Now this is my most favourite creation yet. Fasten your seat belts because your going to start jumping up and down with excitement wishing you came up with this idea. I found an old skirt pattern from the Op-shop and turned it into something new and super kawaii. I've attached a big kimono bow onto the back of it and the best part is I've made it with CUPCAKE material. Like cupcakes aren't yummy enough, Haha.
